Registered Psychotherapist
EMDR Therapist
Hi, I’m Nisha — a Registered Psychotherapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful, evidence-based approach for treating trauma and PTSD.
I’m passionate about supporting teens, adults, couples, and families as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions.
Whether you’re struggling with the impact of childhood wounds, recent traumatic experiences, or ongoing emotional overwhelm, EMDR can help you process and heal in a safe, structured, and transformative way. My trauma-informed approach combines EMDR with other effective therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
As an immigrant myself, I deeply understand the layers of identity, belonging, and adjustment that can shape your emotional world. I offer a holistic and culturally sensitive space where your unique story is respected and honored.
At the heart of my practice is a belief in your innate capacity to heal and grow — with the right support. I meet you with compassion, authenticity, and without judgment. My personal motto: “Meet people where they are, not where you expect them to be.”
I offer therapy in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, both in-person (Cambridge and Brantford) and online across Ontario, so you can connect in the language and setting that feels most comfortable for you.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a proud mom and nature enthusiast. Gardening reminds me that healing, like growth, requires patience, care, and the right environment.
If you’re ready to explore trauma healing through EMDR or other supportive therapies, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Reach out today — your healing journey can start here.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
We each carry our inner world differently — shaped by our histories, our relationships, and the moments that have left their mark. I believe therapy should honour that individuality, moving at your pace and working in ways that genuinely fit who you are. I am a qualifying psychotherapist holding an MSc in Counselling Psychology and registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I have a particular interest in working with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, and the complexities of relationships and attachment. Drawing on an eclectic range of therapeutic modalities, I tailor my approach to meet each client where they are, rather than fitting them into a single framework — this might mean exploring patterns rooted in the past, or using more present focused tools when that feels most useful. As a first-generation immigrant and woman of color, I bring a lived understanding of change, adjustment, and the experience of navigating spaces where you don't always feel you belong. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including those for whom cultural identity, displacement, or belonging are part of their story. I offer a space that is unhurried, non-judgmental, and genuinely curious.
Sessions are available both in person and virtually.
Whether you are navigating stress, struggling in your relationships, or simply sensing that something feels off, I would be glad to explore that with you
