EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based psychotherapy approach that helps people process and heal from traumatic or distressing life experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR works with the brain's natural ability to heal, using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to reprocess painful memories.

Does this sound familiar?

EMDR is particularly effective for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, phobias and negative self-beliefs. It allows you to access and reframe unresolved memories in a safe, structured way, so they no longer feel as overwhelming or disruptive in your daily life.

How we help

The goal of EMDR is not to erase the memory, but to reduce its emotional intensity and help you gain a new perspective — so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence and peace. Your therapist will assess whether EMDR fits your situation early on, and pace the work carefully with you.
