If the fee is the thing in the way
Say so on the call. Brittany, our practicum therapist, offers a sliding scale. Tell us what works for you and we'll see what's possible. Nobody has to explain why.
Insurance
You get a receipt for every session for extended health insurance. Plans differ on what they cover for psychotherapy, so check yours before your first session:
- Look for “psychotherapist” or “Registered Psychotherapist” in your plan.
- Note the yearly amount and any limit per session.
- If you'd like to see Sunaina, Brittany or Foram, ask whether your plan covers Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying).
Bring any questions to the free call.
- Is therapy covered by OHIP?
- No. Therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist in private practice isn't covered by OHIP. Most people use extended health benefits through work or school.
- Is HST added?
- No. The fee is the full amount.
- Is it the same price online?
- Yes. Online and in-person sessions cost the same.
- What about cancellations?
- We go over the cancellation policy when you book your first session.
Start with a free 15-minute call to see if it feels like the right fit.
