Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Therapy in English, Hindi and Gujarati — anxiety, life transitions, immigration and cultural adjustment, and recovery after motor vehicle accidents.

About Foram

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, immigration and cultural adjustment, recovering from the psychological impact of a motor vehicle accident, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I believe therapy can be a place where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.

My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. I believe every person has unique strengths, even during life’s most difficult moments. Together, we can work to better understand the challenges you’re facing, develop practical coping strategies, and help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

Alongside my clinical work, I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns within both hospital and community settings. I also support individuals navigating the emotional challenges associated with immigration and acculturation, as well as those coping with the psychological effects of motor vehicle accidents, including trauma, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, and stress-related concerns. I provide therapy in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, so you can communicate in the language you feel most comfortable using.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. Rather than believing there is one approach that works for everyone, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, goals, and pace.

Above all, I strive to build an authentic therapeutic relationship founded on empathy, trust, curiosity, and respect. I believe healing begins when people feel genuinely seen and supported, and I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you work toward greater clarity, resilience, and personal growth. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and continually expanding my knowledge through professional development and lifelong learning.
